Panama Jack ...thanks for your review! I was skeptical that this would be a remastered version but Panama Jack's review is dead on. The audio on this is more clear, balanced and loud. The other Van Halen Hagar era CDs also have improved audio but 5150 and OU812 are the ones that are dramatically improved. Balance and Carnal sound better but not as huge a noticeable gain, however Balance includes the bonus track Crossing Over which is excellent. This is worth buying if you are looking for the best sounding version of the Hagar era Van Halen CDs.

The Van Hagar remasters are here!! Even though nothing on this release states or indicates that it is remastered, it definitely is. Even though this album originally sounded great, this remaster has a clearer, crisper sound than the current US release. Truly worth every penny!
