2019年8月に行われた"MTVアンプラグド"のLIVE ALBUM! UKマンチェスターが誇るロックンロール・スター、リアム・ギャラガーのソロ、オアシス楽曲を含むMTVアンプラグド・セッション! MTV伝統のアコースティック・ライヴで、オアシスもこれまでに一度だけ出演したことがある。全世界で約2500万枚以上の売上枚数を記録した『モーニング・グローリー』の発表後、アメリカでもチャートを上昇しはじめていたバンド全盛期となる1996年8月23日にロンドンのロイヤル・アルバート・ホールにて予定されていた。しかしながら、Liamは喉の不調の為に直前で出演をキャンセル。現在までも犬猿の仲である実兄Noelが急所代役をこなし、皮肉なことにそのLiam不在のパフォーマンスが大絶賛されてしまう。ある種、Liamにとっては因縁渦巻く今回の出演であったに筈だが、今回を以って実に23年ぶりにその雪辱を果たしたといっても過言ではない、それほど素晴らしい出来栄えとなった公演。
