新潟発スクリーモ・バンド"a crowd of rebellion"待望の1st Full Album! 『Xanthium』とはキク科の1種で、国内では「オナモミ」の通称で知られる植物。花言葉は「粗野」であり、バンド自身が群雄割拠の現代ロック・シーンに一石を投じる想いを込めて名付けられた。2007年の結成以来、定期的にリリースを重ねてきた彼らだが、フル・アルバムのリリースは初となる。 メジャーデビュー曲「The Crow」、スマッシュ・ヒットを記録したEP『Daphne』より「Smells Like Unknown」といった代表曲はもちろん、バンドとして新境地のサウンドで聴かせる「Sketch」をはじめ、やりたい放題の最凶トラック「She'll Never Forgive To Be Insulted.」、先行トラックとなる「M1917」など、激エモ・トラックを13曲収録。 初回限定盤は、LIVEでも必ずパフォーマンスするファン垂涎の定番曲「O.B.M.A」のNewバージョン「X.E.D.I.T.I.O.N」も収録した"最凶盤"。紙ジャケット仕様。
