Let me first say that I am an African-American, and my first experience with this band came from my uncle, who had known Japanese friends, and gave him the "Natsuko" album. I saw Joey McCoy (one of the band's members, an African-American) on the front cover, and I was intrigued how a black man could end up with a Japanese band. And from then on, I fell in love with the Omega Tribe's music. This is an excellent set, music-wise. "Be Yourself" and "Natsuko" are the weakest albums, but everything else is very strong. My only problems are the Downtown Mystery "Day Time Version" CD--it's not any different from the "Night Time Version," and it was a waste of a CD. As well as the other two greatest hits CDs. They weren't needed. And the DVDs weren't incredible either, but it was nice to see them live. The negatives aside, the actual original content here is just as good as I expected, and it makes it worth the steep price. Also, each CD comes with karaoke versions of the songs, as well as lost tracks, which are worthy of addition. If you enjoy Carlos Toshiki even a little bit, this set is highly recommended. I also recommend "Everlasting Summer" box set by Kiyotaka Sugiyama.
