斉藤和義 45枚目となるシングルは、林真理子原作の小説をドラマ化したテレビ朝日系金曜ナイトドラマ「不機嫌な果実」主題歌として書き下ろされた「マディウォーター」と、昨年リリースしたアルバム"風の果てまで"制作時に、チャーリー・ドレイトン(Dr)、ダリス・ジョーンズ(B)、マニー・マーク(Org)をむかえてロサンゼルスでレコーディングした新曲「Call me Now」を収録。そして2015年11月よりスタートしたKAZUYOSHI SAITO LIVE TOUR 2015-2016 "風の果てまで" の中で、日替わりに行われている弾き語りコーナーで披露された「月光」(2016年2月21日横須賀芸術劇場)と「ワッフル ワンダフル」(2月24日なら100年会館)の2曲のライブ音源を含めた全4曲収録。さらに、初回限定盤には、現在ツアー中の日替わり弾き語りのライブテイクが5曲収録された特典DISCを付属。
