アイハベル / Kiroro
1998年1月21日にシングル「長い間」でメジャーデビュし、2018年1月で20周年。オリジナルアルバムとしてはおよそ13年ぶり! 2005年11月23日に発売されたアルバム「Wonderful Days」以来。アルバム発売後、育児休暇に入り、その後ゆったりとしたペースで活動を続けてきて、20周年の節目のタイミングで13年ぶりのアルバムが完成。アルバムプロデュースはKiroro。初のセルフプロデュースアルバム。アレンジャーに、石崎光(aiko、片平里菜etc)、大久保友裕(中島美嘉、Little Glee Monster etc)、三橋隆幸(中島美嘉、JUJU etc)、片山義美(Kiroroサポートメンバー)、田中雪子(NHK「18祭 ONE OK ROCK」クワイアディレクション)らを起用。ミュージシャンとしては、玉田豊夢、佐藤征史(くるり)、今野均、種子田健らを起用。タイトル「アイハベル」は沖縄の言葉で"美しい蝶"という意味。デビュー当時、芋虫のキャラクターだった自分たちが20年経って蝶に成長したという意味を込めている。
