Kenty-G is obsessed with sex and crude humor (this would be the only CD I own featuring the artist laughing at his own flatulence--and by FAR the Japanese CD with the most words bleeped out I've ever heard). Yet he's got a genuine flow, and some of his rhymes are quite clever. He also never seems to be fooling himself on what a freak he is. In my opinion, Kenty is best taken in small doses (he makes great guest appearances with Minmi and Shounan no Kaze on other albums), and some of the songs here are imminently skippable. But what works--things like I Wanna Get Princess, BaBaBaan, and the cheesy-rap "running through the alphabet with dirty words" staple ABCD--tends to work well, and the beats go well with Kenty's manic rhymes. If I could, I'd probably give this album more like a 3.5 instead of a 4, but that doesn't mean I don't listen to it when I want something fast-paced that appeals to the adolescent kid in me.
