Live In Nemuro 1977

[Machine Translation] Sadao Watanabe, one of Japan's most famous saxophone players, gave a live performance in Nemuro in 1977, the year before the release of his breakthrough album "California Shower" which made an impact on the Japanese jazz scene. He played jazz standards, bossa nova, and original songs incorporating African rhythms, backed by a lively rhythm section of the regular quintet of the time, including pianist Takehiro Honda and bassist Tsutomu Okada, and performed ad-libbed solos filled with a sense of speed.
