2007年10月クールTBS金曜ドラマの原作ともなった『歌姫』の伝説の舞台の感動を、DVDで!! ここは高知のとある寂れた漁場町にひっそりと佇む映画館「オリオン座」。これから流す映画の上映を最後に閉館する事に。その最後の作品を観に、東京から息子を連れ小泉ひばりが訪れる。その土佐清水オリオン座最後の上映作品は1960年代に作られた「歌姫」という作品であった。脚本はジェームス太郎。戦後のドサクサで記憶喪失になった男と彼を愛する女性の純愛の物語であるという。この映画を最後に上映する事が、先月亡くなったこの映画館の持ち主、松中鈴の遺言であった。この作品には一体どんな意味があるのか・・・そしてひばりがこの映画を観に来た理由は・・・。上映を前にひばりのかつての記憶が蘇ってくる。ここオリオン座が活気づいていた頃、人々が映画に熱狂していた昭和30年代へ・・・。
