The Cream on a superb audio CD, which certainly sounds good for recordings from that era. Clear sound and fantastic guitar work from Clapton, drumming from Baker, and vocals with bass guitar from Bruce. I already had the remastered releases, but I think the SACD adds a little more, even if it's minimal, but the mono tracks are not good sounding.

The first album from an early super group in the classic rock category. This release brings the best sonic versions of 13 songs. However, the source material limits even what SHM-SACD can deliver. This SHM-SACD version captures all songs related to the UK, USA, German and Scandinavian "Fresh Cream" album releases, plus six songs from the French EP release. Subsequent album releases from Cream will see improved production and sound engineering results. A good addition to a classic rock collection. 19 songs, mono and stereo 89 minutes running time
