[Machine Translation] The compilation album series "City Music Tokyo" planned, supervised and commented by Kunimond Takiguchi (Streamline) is finally released on Universal Music. クニモンド瀧口 (流線形)が企画・監修・解説を務めるコンピレーション・アルバム『City Music Tokyo』シリーズのユニバーサル ミュージック盤がついに登場! 今作は「invitation」(2020年11月発売)、「junction」(2022年4月発売)、「signal」「tremolo」(2023年1月発売)、「parallelism」(2023年3月発売)、に続く第6弾で、ユニバーサル ミュージック/ポリドール/キティ・レコード/EMIなどの楽曲からレアなトラックも収録予定。「都会・音楽・東京」から想像する、今こそ聴いてもらいたいシティ・ミュージックをコンパイルした作品集。"CITY MUSIC TOKYO"というシリーズ・タイトルに続く今作のサブ・タイトルは"corner"。70年代から語られるシティポップの変化の過程で、80年代から90年代の楽曲を"曲がり角"として、また、ヒットチャートには登らなかった"隅っこ"にあった楽曲にもスポットライトを当てたいという思いから、このサブタイトルがついた。コンセプトを表したイメージ写真は、フォトグラファー高木康行によるもの。アートディレクション、グラフィックデザインはクニモンド瀧口が担当。初CD化曲、未配信曲など、このアルバムでしか聴くことのできない、それでいてシティポップの魅力を放つ魅力あふれるトラックをぜひご堪能ください。
