Herb Ohta is one of the great ukulele players. I have had this recording on LP for quite some time. And now it is such a joy to see it released on CD; and to see the material treated so well. This album is more jazzy than strickly Hapa Haole. A very nice listen. This CD reissue is first rate, as are all of the Aloha Smile series. The original LP cover artwork has been faithfully recreated and the recording is very clean. Yuki Yamauchi and the team who are releasing the Aloha Smile reissues deserves a round of applause. This CD is only one of several that have recently seen the light of day once again. I only hope that more of these Hawaiian and Hapa Haole classics are released on CD. Keep up the great work Aloha Smile!
