世界を舞台に活躍するピアニスト、小曽根真、60歳記念ソロ・ピアノ・アルバム。クラシックとジャズ両方の魅力を存分に伝える2枚組。2021年3月に還暦を迎えるにあたり、完全ソロ・ピアノ作品としては13年ぶりとなるアルバム。国内屈指のクラシック・ホール"水戸芸術館 コンサートホールATM"の極上の響きの中、スタインウェイD型とヤマハCFXという2台のグランドピアノを曲により弾き分け、ジャズとクラシックの両分野で活躍する小曽根の魅力を2枚のディスクに余すところなく真空パック。クラシック・サイドでは、モーツァルト、ラヴェル、プロコフィエフの名曲を即興演奏を織り交ぜて演奏。「SONGS」と題するジャズ・サイドでは、書き下ろしの新曲をメインに、今回アルバム初収録となる9曲を収録。2台のピアノのためのオリジナル曲や即興演奏を、スタインウェイ+ヤマハで多重録音したナンバーも収録。
