蔦屋書店の音楽として、「森」をテーマに作られた haruka nakamura 初のアンビエント・アルバム。懐かしくも、新しく響く音。ジャケット写真は親交の深い写真家・川内倫子。2023年9月にCDアルバムとして発売された本作が、第二作目「青い森II」と共に12インチ・レコードとしてリリース。ハルカナカムラのキャリアの中では新しいサウンドでありながら、どこか懐かしい独創的なアンビエント・ミュージック。80年代的なシンセサイザー、遠くに鳴る讃美歌、残響するピアノ、エレクトロニカ、フェンダーローズ、落ち着いたミニマルミュージック的サウンド。リラックスを求められる現代において、森の中で深呼吸をしているような楽曲たち。アナログ・マスタリングは、ナカムラ作品のレコードマスタリングで定評のある田辺玄 (studio camel house)。
