Siren Standard Edition

If you ask most people what they thought of video games that have been made into movies (IE: Street Fighter, Super Mario Brothers), they will usually tell you, "Those movies are terrible!". I'm not hear to rant and rave about how this movie has almost nothing to do with either of the Siren games, but I will tell you some things you may want to read before considering purchasing this movie. First off, the movie is entirely in Japanese with absolutely no subtitles. That really isn't a problem, for most of the dialogue is pretty obvious just by the characters reactions etc. As many fans of this great horror game know, the games are broken up into many events that span over 3 days to a couple weeks after or years before. In these days the action occurs, many of the characters all at one point or another cross paths the other characters have the previous day etc., and they do certain things that events the next day. Before seeing this movie, I spent a lot of time thinking about how they could pull that system off, and I was disappointed, because it is virtually absenst. The movie is watchable, and has some interesting scenes in it, but sometimes, it is disappointing.
