ホワイト・ストライプスの要であり、サイドバンドのラカンターズの司令塔であるジャック・ホワイトの新プロジェクト!! 2008年にラカンターズがキルズとのツアーを行った際に、ジャックが喉を痛めるアクシデントに見舞われる。そこでキルズのボーカル、VIVI嬢ことモシャートにボーカルのサポートを依頼、ツアーも無事終了し親交を更に深めたモシャートとジャックの関係は、その後のテッド・ウェザ―結成へと発展した。"ただの一過性プロジェクト"で片付けるには、あまりにももったいないぐらい暴風雨サウンドは、ジャックが好きな60s rage/acid/blues/country/Rock'n'rollが過剰に溶け込んでいて、聴く度に狂酔してしまいそう。ストライプスでもラカンターズでもない"予測不能のハリケーン・ブギ"ジャックの天邪鬼さ加減はこのTDWでしか味わえない!
