映画『ヒルコ/妖怪ハンター』生誕30周年記念! 初レストアにて初Blu-ray化! 人気漫画家・諸星大二郎の原作を塚本晋也が監督・脚本したアドベンチャーホラー。沢田研二主演。大自然に囲まれた田舎町の中学校を舞台に、古墳から蘇った妖怪ヒルコと、ドジできまじめな考古学者と彼の亡き妻の兄の息子の中学生が対決する。――新進気鋭の学者として、考古学界で注目されていた稗田礼二郎だったが、ある学説を唱えてからは異端児扱いされ、存在はほとんど忘れられていた。そんな彼に、義兄で中学校教師の八部高史から一通の手紙が届く。古代人が悪霊を鎮めるために造った古墳を発見したという内容だった。自分の学説が証明されるきっかけを感じた稗田は八部家を訪ねる。しかし八部は、生徒である月島令子と共に、謎の失踪事件を起こしていた。稗田と八部の息子まさおは妖怪退治の武器を 手に暗い校内を探索する。血の海の中の首なし死体、美しい歌声、首だけの多足生物・・・。夏の一夜、消えた少女を探して、恐ろしくも哀しい冒険が始まる。
