レコード会社への売り込みのために作られたデモテープをもとにした1983年の自主リリース作。オリジナル発売時はカセットテープのみ。M(9)以降はライヴ・テイク。1st後に脱退したデヴィッド・グッデイを含むオリジナル・ラインナップでのライヴを追体験できる唯一の機会。「A Whiter Shade of Pale」(青い影)はプロコル・ハルム名曲のカバー。電化したポストパンク・サウンドの端々に後のニッツァー・エブ・マナーの片りんが。シンプルなセットが醸し出すDIYムードが逆に今こそフィット。再発マスタリングはピーター・ブラック。
