堀内孝雄、6年ぶりのニューシングルをリリース! 今回の作品は50代から70代まで幅広い世代への応援歌。"「青二才」と言われた若い時代の気持ちを忘れずに、「青二才」のまま夢を追いかけて最後まで走り続けよう"と歌う。一旦定年を迎えた後も働き続けて生涯現役を目指す人も増えている。現役世代からその後の世代まで幅広い世代にエールを送る。アリス時代を思い起こさせるギターサウンドに乗って、「青くあれ 青くあれ」と背中を押してくれる作品。「ユズリハ」は2013年4月に発売されたアルバム「アリスXI」に収録されていた谷村新司作詞、堀内孝雄作曲の作品。今回は盟友への鎮魂の気持ちを込めて、新しいアレンジで、堀内がソロで作り上げた。「ゆずり葉」は新しい葉が出ると古い葉が落ちることから世代交代がわかりやすい植物とされている。今作品では、限りある命を淡々と歌い、最期をユズリハが散る様になぞらえた奥深い人生ソングとなっている。
