The Bremenrocks

[Machine Translation] The Bremenrocks, the band that Goro Nagase of Instant Citron and Hajime Yoshida of PANICSMILE were members of when they were university students, have released their music for the first time on CD after 30 years. The band included members of early PANICSMILE and Tomoko Kataoka of Instant Citron. After the band broke up, the members went their separate ways, and it seemed as if they would never cross paths again, but after a decade, they unexpectedly crossed paths and joined forces. The other members in this album are Katsuji Takemura (G), Geru Matsuishi (Ds), Eri Hatakeyama (Kanosare) as a featured vocalist, Tomo (THEE 50s HIGHTEENS), and Maki Yamada (FIELD,GINZALIGHTS). インスタントシトロン長瀬五郎とPANICSMILE吉田肇が大学生時代に在籍した幻のバンド、The Bremenrocksの楽曲が30年の時を経て初CD化。如何なる経緯で事が運んだかは知らないが、PANICSMILEの吉田ハヂメとインスタントシトロンの長瀬ゴロウが結託しレコーディング、アルバムを発表。両者を知る者なら想像するだけで眩暈・動悸・息切れを起こすかもしれないその内容は、1周まわってのオルタナ・ギターバンド、2周まわってのフレンチ・ポップ、3周まわってキング・クリムゾン・・・ではないかもしれないが、とにかくそんな音楽。バンドには初期PANICSMILEのメンバーやインスタントシトロンの片岡知子も在籍。バンド解散後はメンバー銘々の道を歩み、再び交わることのないかのように思われたが、ウン十年の時を経て、まさかの交差、よもやの合流。今作の他の参加メンバーは、竹村カツジ (G)、松石ゲル (Ds)、フィーチャリング・ヴォーカリストとして畠山英莉 (カノサレ)、TOMO (THEE 50s HIGHTEENS)、山田マキ (FIELD,GINZALIGHTS)。The Bremenrocks初めてのアルバム。
