「virtual trip」City Viewシリーズ第1弾のテーマは<渋谷>。大都会東京の中で常に流行発信源として若者達で賑わう街「渋谷」。今回はそんな渋谷という街が持つユニークな表情を様々な角度から収録。日の出前からマジックアワーを跨ぐ、まだ人影少ない時間帯を<ステディカム>を用いて撮影。車両が進入出来ない路地裏を中心に昔ながらの渋谷を狙う。ジャイロ搭載の<車載カメラ>では、明治通り、246、井の頭通り、公園通り、ファイヤー通りなど、象徴的なランドマークを含め日々変化を続けている街を撮影。また今回は"もう一つの渋谷"とも言える<地下>も撮影。半世紀近く封印されたままの状態で、現在も渋谷の街の地下に脈々と流れる「渋谷川」「宇田川」。地上からは全く知覚することの出来ない暗黒の迷路は、まるで廃墟の街に足を踏み入れたようなリアリティーと幻想に満ちている。渋谷の地下エリアにHDカメラが潜入収録したのは<史上初>となる記録的価値も高い貴重な映像。
