オリジナル・ラヴ久々のオリジナル楽曲によるシングル!! 岡本太郎が生前に描きながらも、30年以上も行方不明になっていた巨大壁画「明日の神話」がメキシコで発見され、その修復および日本への移送作業が各所を巻き込み、一大文化事業と化し、先日晴れてお披露目された。かねてより岡本太郎からの影響を公言していた田島貴男は、この巨大壁画の修復を支援する私設応援団「太郎の船団」に名を連ね、かつ新曲「明日の神話」を作り上げた。巨大壁画をずっと追いかけてきた日本テレビが、そのお披露目特番をOAし、そのエンディングテーマとしても使用されている。イントロに岡本太郎が出演していた某CMで弾いていたピアノをサンプリングするなど、岡本太郎とがっちり「タイアップ」!! また、オリジナル・ラヴとしては久方ぶりのバラードシングル。
