Anna Girardot, known in Japan for her roles as Yuki in Kohei Oguri's "FOUJITA" ( 15 ) and in Cedric Klapisch's "Somewhere in Paris, With You" ( 19 ), was selected to play the main character in this complete film adaptation. She trained for two months at Crazy Horse, a long-established cabaret in Paris, and took on the challenge of directing this film. The film is directed by Anissa Bonnefont, the up-and-coming female director of "Wonder Boy" (19), who has attracted much attention for her work in this film, and succeeded in adapting the shocking true story with overwhelming reality. --Emma, a 27-year-old novelist who moved to Berlin from France, is drawn to the other side of prostitutes by her curiosity and ambition as a writer. In order to understand the realities of these women, she boldly goes undercover as a prostitute in the famous La Maison, a high-class whorehouse. The daily lives of these women are fraught with danger, loneliness, and endless worries about their love lives. Emma's days there are full of new discoveries. What was supposed to be a two-week stay turns into two years. What does Emma see ahead?
