After a 3 year wait, Sex Machineguns' very anticipated new album was released with new drummer Leon. The first 3 songs however are not recorded by Leon but by Takeo Shimoda, and sadly the first 3 songs have very bad drum sound but that turns around on track 4 with "Miren FIRE! (Album ver.)" when Leon replaces Takeo and for the rest of the album the drum sound is very decent. As for the musical content, it is outstanding as usual from Anchang but a little disappointing compared to the "Miren FIRE!" single. But the album features a very unique sound with killer tracks such as "Egui Kuikomi", "Maameido Jikoku" and "Itsumo no Kissaten". The track "Yokatta ne" almost sounds like a dethklok song with clean vocals, same with the instrumental song "Overture" maybe Anchang has been watching some Metalocalypse? "GS BOY" is defiantly the best song on the album and better than "Egui Kuikomi" the single of the album. There is some disappointing attributes, one of them is the length, clocking in at just over 30 minutes it's defiantly a great mini-album, but it's barely a Full-Length. To conclude, I recommend this album to everybody on planet earth as I would every other other SMG album.
