Shee Olina is a female singer from Montreal, Canada, who began writing songs in early 2010 and started working on this album after self-releasing two EPs in late 2012. A self-proclaimed recluse, her early songs were born out of "melancholy and a desire to never leave the bedroom again. She recorded and mixed this work in various bedrooms and studios with the help of her brother, Luke Roses.
