[Machine Translation] [US indie band Graylag from Dead Oceans! US indie band Gray Rag has released their debut album from <Dead Oceans>, a label that continues to produce quality artists such as Akron/Family and Phosphorescent. The band released their EP "The Only Way To Kill You" in 2012, and it has been getting a lot of attention by word of mouth. Produced by Phil EK, who has worked with Fleet Foxes and Band of Horses, the album was produced at Seattle's Abasto Studios, which has been used by Modest Mouse and Band of Horses. The result is a superb work of indie-folk-infused music. Andrew Stonestreet (vocals, acoustic guitar), Daniel Dixon (lead guitar, keyboards), and Brady Swan (drums), all from different cities, bring Portland music culture and atmosphere to this album.

＜Dead Oceans＞からUSインディー・バンド、グレイラグ登場! アクロン/ファミリー、フォスフォレッセントなど良質なアーティストを輩出し続ける＜Dead Oceans＞からUSインディー・バンド、グレイラグがデビュー・アルバムをリリース! 2012年に発表したEP『The Only Way To Kill You』で口コミで話題となっていた彼等。本作はフリート・フォクシーズやバンド・オブ・ホーセズを手掛けてきた、フィルEKによるプロデュースの元、モデスト・マウスやバンド・オブ・ホーセズなどが使用したシアトルのアブァスト・スタジオで制作され、そのサウンドはアメリカーナ、オルタナ・カントリーなど最近インディー・フォークを取り入れた極上作品が完成した。アンドリュー・ストーンストリート (ボーカル、アクースティックギター)、ダニエル・ディクソン (リードギター、キーボード)とブレイディ・スワン (ドラム)はそれぞれ地元が異なる出身にも関わらず、ポートランドのミュージック・カルチャーや雰囲気を本作に取り入れている。
