Theory of a Deadman's fifth studio album, featuring guests such as Alice Cooper and Rascal Flatts, expands the band's musical horizons! Theory of a Deadman has been at the forefront of the hard rock scene for over a decade. Their powerful yet melodic and heartbreaking lyrics have won them many fans in North America and Europe, and now, after almost three years since their last No. 1 album "The Truth Is..." in the U.S., they are back with their fifth studio album. They have returned to the scene with a new album, their first in three years since their last No. 1 album in the U.S., "THE TRUTH IS..."! The album, titled "SAVAGES," was produced by Howard Benson (Halestorm, My Chemical Romance, Creed, etc.), who also produced the previous album. The video for "Drown," the lead track from the album, has already been released. This is their fifth studio album. As the title of the album means "savage bastards," the album is said to address the "brutality" of the world. Frontman Tyler Connolly said of the album's songwriting, "This album is very different from anything we've done in the past. I'm known for writing 'breakup songs,' and if I kept writing songs like that, people would think I was stereotypical. So I decided to do the opposite. In fact, the world around us has a violent side. When I was a kid, I had nightmares watching Terminator, and on YouTube you can watch real murders. We are becoming more and more desensitized to it. I started writing songs about crazy women and how crazy we've become. That's the theme of this album. I spent a whole day holed up in my home studio. I became a dangerous recluse and even grew a beard. I was like a recluse, and I even grew a beard. The resulting album, "Savages," recaptures the aggressiveness, powerful riffs, and raw power of the band's early days, while keeping the melodic aspects of their sound intact.
