[Machine Translation] Eagles guitarist/vocalist Joe Walsh's first solo album in 20 years! After playing with James Gang, Barnstorm, and as a solo artist, Joe Walsh joined the Eagles in 1975. He has been highly acclaimed as a musician since his solo days, and has played guitar on albums by REO Speedwagon, Dan Fogelberg, Keith Moon (The Who), and others. Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Randy Meisner of the Eagles were also close friends with Joe, and they played on the Eagles' third album, "On The Border" (1974), and the album that would change the Eagles' course from their early country style to a rock sound, and propel them to stardom. He introduced the Eagles to Bill Szymczyk, who produced their third album, On The Border (1974), One Of These Nights (1975), and Hotel California (1976), and joined the band for the production of Hotel California, as if he himself was ready to join. He was the last piece of the puzzle for the Eagles to make the leap forward, injecting the gritty American roots-rock elements that the Eagles lacked. He is a regular member of the reunited Eagles, along with Glenn Frey, Don Henley, and Timothy B. Schmit. This is his first solo album in 20 years, since "Songs For A Dying Planet" in 1992. The album was produced by Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra), a long-time friend of Joe's, and Joe himself. The songwriting partner is Tommy Lee James, one of Nashville's leading singer/songwriters/producers, who has written songs for Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Taylor Swift, Pixie Lott, and many others. A CD version with 10 songs and a 2-CD version with 2 bonus tracks, "Fishbone" ( 11 ) and "But I Try" ( 12 ), and a DVD containing a 17-minute making-of featurette will be released.

James Gang、Barnstorm、ソロ活動を経て1975年にEaglesに加入したギタリスト/ヴォーカリスト。ソロ時代からミュージシャン中までの評価がすこぶる高く、REO Speedwagon、Dan Fogelberg、Keith Moon (The Who)等のアルバムにギターで参加。またEaglesのGlenn Frey、Don Henley、Randy MeisnerがJoeとも親交が厚く、Eaglesが初期のカントリー・スタイルからロック・サウンドへと軌道修正してスターダムへと上り詰めていく一連のアルバム、つまり3rd『On The Border』(1974)、『One Of These Nights』(1975)、『Hotel California』(1976)をプロデュースしたBill SzymczykをEaglesに紹介し、自らも満を持したかのように『Hotel California』の制作から加入。Eaglesに欠けていた骨太なアメリカン・ルーツ・ロックの要素を注入し、Eaglesが飛躍するためのパズルの最後の1ピースとなった男。再結成EaglesでもGlenn Frey、Don Henley、Timothy B. Schmitとともに正規メンバーとして活躍中である。ソロ・アルバムとしては1992年『Songs For A Dying Planet』以来、何と20年ぶりの作品となる。プロデュースは古くからの盟友であるJeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra)とJoe自身。作曲面のパートナーとして、Reba McEntire、Trisha Yearwood、Taylor Swift、Pixie Lottなどにも楽曲を提供しているナッシュヴィルを代表するシンガー・ソングライター/プロデューサーのTommy Lee Jamesを招いている。全10曲収録のCDヴァージョンと、「Fishbone」(11)、「But I Try」(12)の2曲をボーナス・トラック収録、かつ約17分のメイキング映像を収録したDVDが追加された2枚組ヴァージョンが発売。
