[Machine Translation] Everything But the Girl was formed by Tracy Thorn, a member of the Marin Girls, and Ben Watt, a solo artist. After 24 years since their 1999 release "TEMPERAMENTAL", EBTG has released their long-awaited new studio album on CD/LP on the well-known label BUZZIN' FLY! The album is released on CD/LP from BUZZIN' FLY, a well-known label in Japan. The album consists of 10 songs, and is a "modern take on the glossy electronic soul" that the band once pursued in the 1990s. The majority of the album was secretly recorded at their home during the spring and summer of 2021, with additional sessions conducted at a studio outside of Bath with friend/engineer Bruno Elringham.

マリン・ガールズのメンバーだったトレイシー・ソーンと、ソロとして活動していたベン・ワットによって結成されたエヴリシング・バット・ザ・ガール。デビュー当初はネオアコのオリジネイター的存在として、その後はクラブ・ミュージックに接近し、常に時代のサウンドを鳴らし続けた稀有なデュオ、EBTG。1999年リリース作『TEMPERAMENTAL』以来、約24年ぶりとなる待望の新作スタジオ・アルバムを、お馴染みBUZZIN' FLYよりCD / LPリリース! 全10曲から構成されており、かつて彼らが90年代に突き詰めた「艶やかなエレクトロニック・ソウルを現代的にアレンジしたもの」とのこと。アルバムの大部分は2021年の春~夏に彼らの自宅で密かにレコーディングされ、追加セッションは友人 / エンジニアのBRUNO ELLINGHAMと共にバース郊外のスタジオで行われました。
