King's 1964 hit and the title track of the album, and "Living with the Blues," a song provided for an Irish charity album and not included on the album under his own name. Although the recording dates of the songs are unknown, it is likely that this will be the last collection of officially unreleased material in the blues-rock style that Gary Moore has devoted himself to since his hit album "Still Got the Blues" in 1990. ゲイリー・ムーアの没後初となる未発表スタジオ音源アルバム『How Blue Can You Get』 (デラックス CDボックス)。これまでライヴ音源でしか聴けなかったフレディ・キングのカヴァー「アイム・トア・ダウン」のスタジオ・テイク、ゲイリー・ムーア節炸裂バラード「イン・マイ・ドリームズ」、完全別アレンジの再録音源「ラヴ・キャン・メイク・ア・フール・オブ・ユー」 (オリジナルナル・テイクは1982年のシングルBサイド収録)やエルモア・ジェイムスのカヴァー「ダン・サムバディ・ロング」 (ゲイリー・ムーアによるオリジナル・テイクは2006年のアルバム『オールド・ニュー・バラッズ・ブルース』収録)、B.B.キングの1964年ヒット曲のカヴァーで本作のタイトル・トラック「ハウ・ブルー・キャン・ユーゲット」、アイルランドのチャリティ・アルバム提供曲で本人名義の作品には未収録の「リヴィング・ウィズ・ザ・ブルース」など全8曲収録。各楽曲の録音時期は不明ながら、内容的には1990年のヒット・アルバム『スティル・ゴット・ザ・ブルース』以降ゲイリー・ムーアが心血を注いだブルース・ロック・スタイルとなっており、本作が公式音源としては最後の未発表音源集になる可能性が高いという。今作は、CDの他、ギターピック、ポストカード、ステッカー、コースターを封入したデラックスBOX仕様。
