[Machine Translation] Bonnie Raitt is one of America's leading female blues-rock guitarists and singer/songwriters. Her new album "DIG IN DEEP" has just arrived. This is Bonnie's first studio album in three years since 2012's "SLIPSTREAM" and the second album on her own label, REDWING. As the title "Dig in Deep" suggests, this album is Bonnie's attempt to explore sounds and themes that she has not explored or explored before. Of the 12 songs on the album, 5 were written by Bonnie. The album also includes covers of INXS's "Need You Tonight," Los Lobos's "Shakin' Shakin' Shakes," Pat McLaughlin's "I Knew," and many others, all arranged in her own way.

アメリカを代表する女性ブルース・ロック・ギタリスト/シンガー・ソングライターであるボニー・レイット。その彼女の新作アルバム『DIG IN DEEP』が到着した。本作は2012年の『SLIPSTREAM』以来、約3年振りのスタジオ・アルバムであり、ボニー本人のレーベル、REDWINGからの2作目となる。タイトルの『DIG IN DEEP』が表すように、本作ではボニー自身がこれまで取り上げてこなかったり、堀下げていなかったサウンドやテーマに挑戦しているとのこと。収録されている12曲の内、5曲はボニーのソングライティングによるもの。この他、INXSの「Need You Tonight」やLos Lobosの「Shakin' Shakin' Shakes」、Pat McLaughlinの「I Knew」など、幅広いアーティストを自分流にアレンジしたカヴァーも収録されている。
