When I was photographing Hanyu, there are moments when I look through the viewfinder and get scared. I always wonder how far she will go, and I always feel like I'm being sucked in by the incredible power of expression that comes from within. She is a person with a unique presence that transcends the human being, and her wide range of expression cannot be summed up in one word. She often incorporates situations that would not be possible without the power of the subject herself, such as a set of red roses and big silhouette outfits. But I was sure that since it was Mr. Hanyu, it would be absolutely fine, and after the shoot, he showed me far beyond that.
