ギャラリーフェイク(贋作画廊)オーナー・藤田が、その天才的審美眼と修復技術を武器に、美術界の裏に潜む虚飾に切り込む。 第5話から最終話までは、逃亡者となったフジタを描く長編シリーズ。ある日、客から預かった絵のキャンバスの下から盗品のルノアールが発見され、フジタが盗品売買でテロ組織に資金を提供しているとの疑惑がかけられた。自分をはめた黒幕を捜すため、秘密裏に出国したフジタだが…!? あらすじ 国立瑞宝美術館の依頼で絵画を修復したものの、一向に代金が支払われないため取り立てに向かったフジタ。だが応対した若い館員達は、館が独立行政法人になってから集客イベントが重視される反面、地味な部門には予算が回らなくなったと逆に不満を漏らしてきた。さらに彼らは、新館長が収蔵作品の横流しを企んでいると訴え、フジタにリアトリビューション(真贋鑑定)を頼むのだが…(第1話)。 登場人物 藤田玲司(ニューヨーク・メトロポリタン美術館の元学芸員で、贋作を扱う画廊「ギャラリーフェイク」のオーナー。美術界の表と裏に精通している)、サラ(フジタのアシスタント。フジタに好意を持っている。実家はアラブの大富豪)
