戦国期以来、京都近郊の伏見街道沿いで地域の有力者として代々続いてきた、今村家に伝えられた文書群の翻刻史料集。総点数は約六七〇〇点、享禄四年(一五三一)から昭和二二年(一九四七)の、約四〇〇年間にわたる史料によって構成されている今村家文書のうち、(1)戦国期～近世前期の史料、(2)今村家の由緒や経営に関する史料、(3)幕末の加茂川筋に関連する史料、(4)六条村や銭座跡村の「穢多」および「非人」関係史料、(5)幕末～明治初年の公用日誌を中心とした近代文書、について翻刻し、解題を付す。
