ギャラリーフェイク(贋作画廊)オーナー・藤田が、その天才的審美眼と修復技術を武器に、美術界の裏に潜む虚飾に切り込む。 第2話「稚児迷走」では、祇園祭のお稚児様に選ばれた少年・新太郎が登場。一年にたった一人、山鉾に上がれる名誉ある役目だが、高い場所が嫌いな新太郎は本番直前に逃げ出してしまう。 あらすじ ギャラリーフェイクでサラの企画した「世界の美男子展」が、女性を中心に連日大盛況。そこに美容整形外科医の福沢が訪ねてきて、カラバッジョの「若者たちの合奏」を売ってほしいと言ってきた。しかし、フジタは福沢の美に対する考えに異を唱え、申し出を断って他の希望者に売ってしまう…(第1話)。 登場人物 藤田玲司(ニューヨーク・メトロポリタン美術館の元学芸員で、贋作を扱う画廊「ギャラリーフェイク」のオーナー。美術界の表と裏に精通している)、サラ(フジタのアシスタント。フジタに好意を持っている。実家はアラブの大富豪)
