スピリッツにひっそり咲く「じみへん」。鬼才中崎タツヤが描く「じみ」な人々が繰り広げる「変」な出来事。 日本ネジしめ連絡会の発展をうれう男(第281話)二階の窓から双眼鏡で鳥を見るといいながら女子高生を見る老人(第284話)「たかが競輪」といいつつ負けてショックを受ける親父(第286話)「佇む」という言葉に妙なこだわりを持ってしまう男(第287話)など。第4巻では23コマだったコマ数が、本巻では、ほぼ15コマに戻っている。また第327話では、久々に4コマ(もしくは5コマ)が3本掲載という形に立ち返っている。著者あとがきでは爪の生えぎわがさかむけたらどうなるかの話。著者のコラムでは「鏡」「写真」「折れた箸」「鉄工所」「大人」「くつ下」「サイン」という題で、著者のアルバイト体験などが語られている。
