■BEYOND 40th GUNDAM SINCE 1979■ 数々の金字塔を打ち立てた『機動戦士ガンダム』シリーズは、テレビシリーズとしては異例であるレコード化を念頭において録音・制作された劇伴 (サウンドトラックス) であった。その至極のサウンドを収めたジャケットには、キャラクターデザインを手がけた安彦良和のイラストが配されたアナログレコードは、これまでの概念を越えたムーブメントを生み出した。【復刻POINT1】音源は、マスターテープから新たにアナログカッティングマスターを作成し復刻。【復刻POINT2】当時リリースされたアルバムの中から、オリジナル・サウンドトラック盤 (テレビシリーズから2タイトル、劇場3部作から4タイトル) をLPサイズジャケットに巻き帯も含め復刻。(尚、初回特典ポスターは付属しません。) 三部作最後となる今作は、ニュータイプとの出会いと覚醒、そして別れ、そして大団円へを体現できる構成となっている。今作は、従来の事前に使用個所を想定した「溜め撮り」では無く、実写映画に使われる「劇伴奏」の手法を使った録音を行い、映像との一体感が溢れるサウンドとなっている。※松山祐士の「祐」は、「示」+「右」が正式表記です。
