■BEYOND 40th GUNDAM SINCE 1979■ 数々の金字塔を打ち立てた『機動戦士ガンダム』シリーズは、テレビシリーズとしては異例であるレコード化を念頭において録音・制作された劇伴 (サウンドトラックス) であった。その至極のサウンドを収めたジャケットには、キャラクターデザインを手がけた安彦良和のイラストが配されたアナログレコードは、これまでの概念を越えたムーブメントを生み出した。【復刻POINT】音源は、マスターテープから新たにアナログカッティングマスターを作成し復刻。当時リリースされたアルバムの中から、オリジナル・サウンドトラック盤 (テレビシリーズから2タイトル、劇場3部作から4タイトル) をLPサイズジャケットに巻き帯も含め復刻。(尚、初回特典ポスターは付属しません。) ファーストアルバムに収録できなかった挿入歌、音源に加え、ストーリー展開に合わせて追加録音されたBGMを加えたセカンドアルバム。キャラクターデザインの安彦良和書下ろしイラストを配したジャケットは、大きなムーブメントとなり爆発的なヒットを記録した。※松山祐士の「祐」は、「示」+「右」が正式表記です。
