監督: 大崎章『キャッチボール屋』×脚本: 足立紳『百円の恋』 不惑の年を前にして未だに迷い日々もがき、女たちに振り回されながら、映画監督として再起をはかる男の姿を優しく描き出す、愛すべきダメ男たちの再生の物語。主演のタカシ役に『ポルノスター』でデビュー後、数々の映像作品に出演、近年は若手監督に愛され出演オファーが絶えない個性派俳優・渋川清彦。――タカシは売れない映画監督。現在は妻子と別居中。ガンで入院していた兄マサルの看病という口実のもと実家に舞い戻っていた。日課はこれまた売れないシナリオライターで地元の悪友・藤村の焼きまんじゅう屋で起死回生のシナリオ作り。新作映画の企画が成立すれば、妻とヨリが戻せると信じているのだ。だが藤村にはどうにも本気感が見られない。どうやら新しく出来た彼女に夢中らしい。ある日、藤村がタカシに女の人を紹介したいと言ってくる。紹介された涼子はなかなかの美人で性格も良さそうだ。涼子のような女性と兄が付き合ってくれたらどんなに安心かと考えたタカシは、頻繁に会うようになるが・・・。
