歌姫シャルロット・ウェッセルスを擁するWITHIN TEMPTATIONの兄弟バンド「ディレイン」による8曲入り最新ミニ・アルバム。女性ギタリスト、メレル・ベクトールドを新たに迎え制作された本作は、書下ろしの新曲の他、ライヴ・トラック、新曲の別ヴァージョンで構成。前作「The Human Contradiction」に引き続き、テッド・ジェンセンがマスタリングを担当。新加入のメレル・ベクトールドは、アムステルダムの東に位置するブラリクム出身の23歳の女性ギタリスト。自らデス・メタル・バンドを率いる傍ら、EPICAのマーク・ヤンセンによるMAYANや、元GATHERINGのアネケのバンド等で腕を磨き、2015年にDELAINに正式加入。DREAM THEATERやSUICIDE SILENCE等を師として磨き上げた高度なスキルと、美貌を持ち合わせた将来有望なスター・プレイヤー。これまでに3rdアルバム「We Are The Others」や「Interlude」EPのジャケットを手掛けた、オレンジカウンティ在住のヴィジュアル・アーティスト、グレン・アーサーによる幻想的なアートワークが久々に復活。
