This new version of the anime of Bishoujo senshi Sailor Moon Crystal is very closer to the manga as the 90th series of Bishoujo senshi Sailor Moon. This limited edition of Vol. 1 includes: - the bluray with the first 2 episodes - a box with a music box, which is playing the opening theme Moon pride in a orgle version - a booklet (which includes interviews, character design works, design works - a booklet witth includes opening & ending storyboards - Charm bracelet - Moon Stick charm (it can be used as a cell phone strap) The episodes was looking better as the official online streams on niconicodouga, at 2014.

I got the box on Friday and was delighted, the packaging features an amazing relief/engraved title in soft pastel colours and gold so you're definitely in for a treat. As soon as you open the box you get a music box rendition of the opening sequence, Moon Pride. Inside is a storyboard booklet in high quality paper featuring the storyboards for both the opening and ending sequences with anotations, all in Japanese so us that don't grasp kanji are left only with the artwork. The second booklet is all colour print featuring interviews with Mitsuishi Kotono, a special feature that seems to have Naoko Takeuchi and her editor Osa-P with colour photos around Tokyon in Juuban. It also has sinopsis and screen shots of the first and second episodes as well as model sheets for Usagi, Sailor Moon and supporting characters, if you like these tidbits you will be marvelled. Last, but not least it features the Sailor Moon Charm bracelet and the Moon Stick Charm that can also be used as a cell phone strap. All in all it's great value for money if you like all these extras. The disc cover seems a bit fragile but I like how it's done.

I was hesitant at first to purchase the set due to this being my first purchase from CDJapan. Also the price made me hesitant. But I must say it was well worth it! The box set is amazing. I don't speak Japanese and I still think the purchase is worth it. The music box is beautiful and plays wonderfully once in light. The fact that I can change the battery is great. The charm is of excellent quality. Made of metal and not the cheap plastic charms you normally see for sale. The DVD plays wonderfully and the art in the books is wonderful. I can't be more pleased with it. Also the instructions for getting the poster for those who pre-ordered were really simple. The Venus poster I got was much taller then I expected. It does not have anything to hang it up with which is the ONLY downside I see to the set as a whole. I am very happy with the product and will continue to pre-order the rest of the set.

This dvd is really worth buying if you are a big sailor moon fan, the bracelet and charms is great quality and its metal not plastic, the art book and dvd is very beautiful and the music box sounds and look amazing, although when I first got it, the music inside the music box was messing up, but I changed the batteries and it sounds a whole lot better and louder. I definitely recommend any sailor moon fan should get this dvd.

I am always pleased with ordering from Cdjapan! This Limited Release is worth the money I promise you and if you are a frequent buyer here with enough points the price is even better! The DVD box is a lovely music box that plays clearly and loudly and it runs on a replaceable battery which is a plus for me because I was worried that if the sound ever stopped I wouldn't be able to replace it. The dainty jewelry inside is great for any collector, beautiful to wear. I was please with the quality of the videos, this purchase was definitely worth it. I couldn't be more excited about this release. PROS: Video Quality is Great, Includes bonuses the set worth the price, beautiful design. Cons: NONE

It's a must have for Sailor Moon fans! I just picked it up from the local customs office today and I never regretted my decision for ordering it. I'm more than happy for doing so! The box, the booklet etc. are very pretty designed and detailed, a real stunner. The melody of the included music box is the intro song MOON PRIDE of the anime Sailor Moon Crystal and it plays while opening the box! Beautiful! Bracelet and charm are both of high quality, well made and I'm looking forward to wear them! All in all I would say that this edition is definitely worth the money, although there are -just- two episodes each BluRay and without subs. I don't mind, since I prefer the Japanese dub more anyway. There are many detailed extras which adjust the price well. Moreover, the BluRay is code free! Thank you CD Japan for the fast delivery, I will buy the rest of the editions soon!

The collector's edition is beautiful. It was worth every penny. Plus you get the music box and the charms. I already pre-order volume 2 and will be ordering the rest.

This box is truly a stunner. I had worries wether the blurry works on my German BluRay player, but it turned out well and I'm so happy! The animation quality is much better than on the Nico Nico stream, the definitely updated loads of the scenes. The packing is so well made, it's truly a very pretty collector's edition. Although I don't speak Japanese and the BluRays don't have subtitles, the BluRays are a must have for me as I'm concerned the German syncro will mess up the charm the original edition does have. The story is well known to us fans and follows the manga very closely, so there are no problems to follow the story line. Go for it, it's worth every penny!

my daughter was so excited when she received the Parcel in the mail today. She opened the parcel as was greeted with protective layers of bubble wrap and paper True to Cd-japan's the contents were indeed protected :D when She opened the beautiful shimmery pink box to check out the contents She was graced with the Music (MOON PRIDE) coming from it, (such a beautiful song) The contents were beautiful and very well made, the charm and the chain were somewhat heavy but not cheaply made at all, the Blu-Ray plays Perfectly without a problem and is visually stunning,the bonus booklets made the set all the more worth the price. inside the Blu-ray The application card is kept for the special box. she can't wait for the rest of this collection. Although you only get two episodes of Sailor Moon Crystal without any subtitles which is a bit disappointing but be it as it may this box is still absolutely worth the price.The packaging is gorgeous: a pink pearl-shimmery box with a raised Sailor Moon Crystal logo feat. Sailor Moon, amazing design for the disc, great design for the packaging of the disc, a little art booklet and a booklet with sketches of the opening and ending. But the true stars are the inside of the pink box being a music box playing the new opening, the moon palace as background looks gorgeous, and the moon stick charm with a little bow. I think it's my favorite SM charm so far. A little tip. My music box didn't play, change the batteries inside the black battery compartment behind the little window on the right side and it should work.

Altough some people say that it's a little bit too expensive, let me tell you that this little box worth it! I think it is a great purchase and it comes with so many interesting things to appreciate. Everything in this box is so fancy and well made that when you first look at it, it doesn't matter anymore how much money you spent on it, you just can love it. If you are a collector like me you will definitely would enjoy collecting this boxes. I do. So, give it a try, and if you don't have enough money you can get only this version (and the last one maybe), because when the music box starts playing, you will fall in love forever. This is a fantastic release for the Sailor Moon Crystal anime. While I'm not too thrilled about this set only having 2 episodes per disc, and the fact that there are no english subtitles, the music box and tons of extras, plus updated animation with things redrawn and new shading and more is absolutely worth the money. The music box is what sealed my pre-order. Better get this now sailor moon fans while you still can! Support the series.
