"動くログハウス"で旅に出る14歳の夏休み。ミシェル・ゴンドリーワールド炸裂のキュートで甘酸っぱい青春ロードムービー。――画家を目指すダニエルは沢山の悩みを抱えていた。中学生になっても女の子のような容姿で、クラスメイトからミクロ(チビ)と呼ばれて馬鹿にされ、恋するローラにはまったく相手にされていない。おまけに母親は過干渉で、兄貴は暴力的なパンク野郎だ。誰も本当の自分を理解してくれる人はいない・・・。そんなある日、クラスに変わり者の転校生がやってきた。名前はテオ。目立ちたがり屋で、趣味の機械いじりのせいでガソリンの匂いを漂わせている。周囲から浮いた二人は意気投合し、学校や家族が自分たちを枠にはめて管理しようとする息苦しい毎日から脱出するための"ある計画"を考え付く。それは、スクラップを集めて"夢の車"を作り、夏休みに旅に出ることだった――。
