1991年の9月28日にマイルス・デイヴィスが65歳でこの世を去った訃報は、ジャズ界はおろか、世界の音楽界に駆け巡った。そしてマイルス・デイヴィスが亡くなる約1年ほど前の1990年に行われたヨーロッパ・ツアーの中で、7月のドイツ公演を収録したアルバムが登場。本作は1990年7月ドイツのハンブルグで行われたコンサートを収録した音源となっており、メンバーはジョー・マクレアリー (b, vo)、リチャード・パターソン (b,vo)、リッキー・ウェルマン (ds)、エリン・デイヴィス (perc)、ケニー・ギャレット (as, fl)。そして注目すべきは晩年のマイルス・バンドに在籍した唯一の日本人であるキーボードのケイ赤城である。コンサートでお馴染みの楽曲やカバー楽曲を多数披露しており、死去1年前のマイルス・デイヴィスのプレイを収録した貴重なライヴ・アーカイヴである。輸入盤国内仕様。
