1968年にデビューして以来、幾度の危機を乗り越えてHM/HRシーンのトップを走り続け、数多くのバンドに影響を与えてきたロック・ジャイアンツ、ディープ・パープル。半世紀を超える活動の中で3つの異なるラインアップによる貴重なライヴ・アーカイヴがリマスターを施され遂にリリース! バンド結成25周年ということから、1992年11月にイアン・ギランが復帰しアルバム『The Battle Rages On...』をリリース、ワールド・ツアーを行う。このツアーの中で、1993年9月26日のイタリアはミラノでのコンサートはラジオ番組の為に収録・放送される。本作はこの放送時の音源によるライヴ・アルバムであり、アンコールを含めてコンサートの模様を完全収録。このコンサート以降にリッチー・ブラックモアとバンドの対立が激しくなり、その後リッチーが脱退するだけに、この作品にはバンドがまだ安定していた状態でのライヴ・パフォーマンスが収録されている。後にオフィシャル・リリースされるものよりも収録楽曲が多く、ファン待望のアルバムである。輸入盤国内仕様。日本語帯、英文ブックレット対訳付。
