エルトン・ジョン&ビリー・ジョエルの2人が組んだ[Face To Face Tour]は1994年に始まり2010年までに211公演が行われる。その中で、日本では1998年にコンサートが開催され、同年3月31日の東京ドーム公演は衛星放送テレビ局のスペシャル番組として収録・放送、後に(米)PBSでもこのライヴ番組が放送される。本作はその放送時の音源によるライヴ・アルバムであり、このライヴ・アルバムは、2人のデュエット・パフォーマンスとソロ・パフォーマンスで構成されたコンサートの模様を収録している。英米を代表する2人のシンガー・ソングライターのパフォーマンスはあまりに完璧であり、スペシャルなライヴにオーディエンスは熱狂する。この奇跡とも言うべき共演のライヴ・アルバムはこれまで一切リリースされていないだけにファン待望のアルバム・リリース! 輸入盤国内仕様。
