1983年8月にこの時期のレインボーにとってラスト・アルバムとなる『ストリート・オブ・ドリームス』をリリース、北米とヨーロッパに限定したツアーを行う。その中で全英ツアーの9月14/15日のウェールズでのコンサートはライヴ・アルバム用に収録されるがリリースは見送られ、BBCラジオの番組のみで放送使用される。当日のセット・リストはメドレーやアンコールを含めて全19曲であることからコンサートの全容を捉えたライヴ・アルバムである。セット・リストの内容はディープ・パープルのナンバーも含めてベスト・オブ・レインボーと言えるものである。リッチー・ブラックモアにとって久々の母国でのツアーであっただけにパフォーマンスも充実しているだけに待望のリリースと言える作品! 輸入盤国内仕様。
