This album contains Femi Kuti's unique political/social message, but also includes his first love song and an optimistic, uplifting song that celebrates humanity itself. Femi's own son, Omorinmade Kuti, also plays piano and bass. Elements of the funk, highlife (dance music from the coastal cities of West Africa), jazz, folk, classical, and father Fela Kuti that Femi grew up listening to as a child are evident on this album.
