今度の妖怪は、何かがおかしい・・・ 小芝風花主演「妖怪シェアハウス」がスケールアップして帰ってきた! 「自分らしく生きるのだ!」と息巻いて飛び立ったはずのヒロイン・澪がボロボロになって妖怪のもとへ里帰り!? 一方、"闇落ち"した妖怪たちが暴れ出す!? 脚本を手掛けるのは『SPEC』シリーズを手掛ける西荻弓絵ほか。また『怪談新耳袋』シリーズの豊島圭介、『民王』『おっさんずラブ』を手掛けた山本大輔が、前作に引き続き監督を務める。――気弱で空気を読むことだけが取り柄の目黒澪 (小芝風花) は、妖怪たちと暮らすうちに強くなって角も生え、小説を書きたいという夢も見つけ、「自分らしく生きる!」と息巻いて"妖怪ヒラキナオリ"としてシェアハウスから羽ばたいていった・・・はずだったが、現実は厳しかった。お金がなければ食べることもままならず、気づけば角も失い、再びどん底生活に陥っていた。生きるために、様々なバイトに追われるが、何をやっても失敗ばかり。もはやボロボロでまるで餓鬼のような状態の澪は、偶然出くわした伊和 (松本まりか) やのんべ (毎熊克哉) ら妖怪たちにも気づかない。挙句には住まいも強制退去となってしまう。荷物を抱えて空腹で彷徨っていた澪は、偶然、好条件の水泳教室のアルバイト募集のチラシを見つける。水泳教室のイケメン講師で社長の川辺雄介 (小久保寿人) を訪ねたところ、なんと採用してもらえるうえに、オフィスに寝泊まりもさせてもらえることになるが・・・。
