First Blu-ray release from the anime series "RIDE BACK" based on the same titled sci-fi action comic by spirited manga artist Teturo Kasahara. Directed by Atsushi Takahashi, assistant director of "Spirited Away (Sen to Chihiro no Kamikakushi)" and animated by MADHOUSE of "Toki wo Kakeru Shojo" and "Paprika" fame. In the near future, Japan is gradually falling under the control of GGP, the new establishment that came into being after the United Nations. Rin Ogata is a daughter of a famous ballet dancer and her aspirations were to become a ballet dancer just like her mother, but her dream is shattered because of an injury. She has tried very hard to accept it, and she actually comes to to look forward to the new life open in front of her just as college is about to begin when she comes across a two-wheeled automobile robot known as a Rideback... Includes episode 1 and 2. Limited edition includes bonus soundtrack CD and booklet with short comic by Teturo Kasahara.
