世界を震撼させた《実在の》UFO遭遇事件、"レンドルシャム事件"――30年以上の時を経て、廃墟となった米国空軍基地で目にした衝撃の光景とは・・・!? ――これは、国防省より漏洩した映像を編集したものである。 イギリス、サフォーク州レンドルシャムの森林地帯に、アングロサクソンの秘宝を追うドキュメンタリー撮影クルーの3人が訪れる。彼らは金属探知機を使い黄金を探していたが、偶然、謎の飛行物体の撮影に成功する。貴重な映像に湧き上がる一行だったが、夜になるとGPSが誤作動を起こし道を見失ってしまう。さらに森を彷徨う中、クルーの一人が体調不良を訴えると、身を案じる間もなく突如謎の光にさらわれてしまう。行方不明の仲間を探す残りの二人は廃墟となった米国空軍基地へと迷い込み、そこで恐るべき存在と遭遇する・・・。
